It's time for the PSO's biggest community celebration of the year... FIESTAVAL! This is a time for our K-12 community to come together and enjoy a day of festivities and fun. Keep reading to find out what we have planned this year, how you can volunteer, and how to support this event!
If you're a new Griffin Family, Fiestaval is our annual Fiesta-themed party filled with food and fun. What can you expect?

Admission covers most of the fun activities. Activities requiring tickets are: Concessions, Cake Walk, Dunk Tank and Loteria game!
Parking
Parking on campus will be extremely limited, and available on a first come, first serve basis.
We encourage you to park at Resurrection Baptist Church and take the FREE shuttle to campus.
Shuttles will run from 3:45pm - 8:15pm
Please note, shuttles are traditional yellow school buses so stroller space is limited (think umbrella stroller).

Spirit Line
This year, we are thrilled to kick off the party with a performance by our Spiritline Squad!
These ladies are working hard to prepare something just for Fiestaval.
They are inviting 3rd-6th grade girls interested in learning a routine to join them for Spiritline Camp on Friday, April 10th.
Let's get the party started with some school spirit!
Volunteers Needed!
We need all the help we can get to pull off a great event! We are looking for volunteers for the concession stand, admissions, setup, and more! Please consider grabbing a friend and signing up for a short shift that's not only fun but directly impacts the SUCCESS of our biggest event!
US scholars are invited to volunteer for day of events as well through the Service Committee, or via the SignUpGenuis.

The concession stand will be tickets only. Food trucks will accept cash or credit card.

Become a Fiestaval Event Supporter
Want to help support Fiestaval AND promote your small business? Become an event supporter!
This is a parent-run community event that brings together GHNO families, faculty, and staff. We invite GHNO family-owned businesses to partner with us as Fiestaval Supporters by helping cover the cost of event attractions and activities.
Event Supporters will be highlighted on all Fiestaval communication (email, social media, and this webpage!) as well as have signage at the event.

Pre-sales have ended, but a limited quantity of sizes and colors will be available for sale after orders are filled.
Shirts purchased during the pre-sale will be delivered in time for our Fiestaval Spirit Day on Friday, April 17th.
Why come to Fiestaval?
Fiestaval has been an important part of our school's community building since the school opened its doors in 2015. A San Antonio Fiesta-themed party organized and funded by your very own Parent Service Organization.
Your support of this event ensures it continues to bring joy to Griffin families for years to come, and when it does well, allows the PSO to give back even more money to the school in the form of improvements like the new set of bleachers on the field or the logo painted on the gym floor.
PSO organizers do their best to plan a fun-filled, family-friendly event with activities and treats for all ages. We would love to see you there!

Fiestaval FAQ
What is included in the price of admissions? Your admission includes most of the fun activities like inflatables, Little Griffin Corner, craft, magic shows, community games, and House booth carnival games. Concessions, Cake Walk, Loteria and the Dunk Tank will require tickets.
Where do Fiestaval proceeds go? Fiestaval proceeds are used to cover the costs of hosting the event, such as inflatable rental fees, concessions items, and entertainment. Once we've covered our cost for the current year's event, we set aside adequate funds that allow us to begin planning the next year's event. Any remaining proceeds are used to gift the school with something it needs. In the past, PSO has used Fiestaval proceeds to purchase a new set of bleachers for the field, and cover the cost of having the GHNO logo painted on the gym floor!
What's the best way to help? Fiestaval is a HUGE event and needs many volunteers. Parent power is our most significant need, so please consider signing up using the Signup Genius above.
Will there be any activities for non-schoolage children? Yes! We will have bounce houses suitable for small children along with the return of our supervised Little Griffin Corner inside the Lower School Library, where littles can safely crawl around and get the wiggles out.
How many tickets should I buy? Dunk Tank, Cake Walk and Loteria are 1-3 tickets, and Concessions items vary from 1-4 tickets. We recommend 6-8 tickets per person if you plan to eat, but you can always purchase more tickets at the ticket desk located inside the Gym.
